Bride's Dress, Veil, etc

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory charmeuse overlayed in alencon lace. The elegance of the gown was shown in the sweetheart neckline of organza and lace flowers, with the embellished floral design of pearls, rhinestones, and crystals on the right shoulder. The fitted bodice of lace over charmeuse, featured a dramatic keyhole back accented with covered buttons, flowing into a full trumpet skirt of charmeuse overlaid in lace, with beautiful scallops of lace encircling the hem. Her cathedral length veil of illusion, complete with blusher, was trimmed in scallops of alencon lace, enhanced with beading, with additional trim of lace and beading fashioned slightly upward into the center of the cascading veil. She carried a European hand tie bouquet of white tulips and white anemones, interspersed with white spray roses, encircled by white hydrangeas, and finished with sapphire ribbon.

The bride's parents are Anthony A. (Tony) and Rev. Mary S. Hilliard of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

The brides grandparents are Wadene Hilliard of Little Rock, Arkansas and the late Rev. Allan E. Hilliard and the late Richard and Mabel Butt of Camden, Arkansas.

The bride is an Analyst with Sara Lee Company in Bentonville, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 2007 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

The Rev. J. Wesley Hilliard, uncle of the bride, officiated. Music was by organist Julia Hilliard Frost, aunt of the bride, who played an array of classical, as well as, seasonal compositions. Soloist, Robert L. Frost, cousin of the bride. Scripture readings were delivered by cousins of the bride, Lindsay and Elizabeth Hilliard. Ring bearer was Caden Musslewhite, nephew of the groom. Rhealee Claire Tacito, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Reception

East Square Plaza was the venue for the reception immediately following the ceremony. Guests entered to a fantasy of light with numerous lit silver trees, and lit spheres and stars, amidst winter white draping and Italian lights. Guest tables were covered in white linen with sapphire organza toppers, with centerpieces of crystal pilsner vases of curly willow, ornamented with crystal prisms, and spheres of white and silver. Sterling silver sleigh bells and votive candlelight surrounded each centerpiece. Entrance to the refreshment lounge featured a ?Story Tree,? adorned in bridal colors of white, sapphire and silver, with photos depicting the childhoods and courtship of the couple. The band, DMP of Memphis, Tn., entertained the guests.
