Bride's Dress, Veil, etc

The bride wore an Enzoani full trumpet gown, ivory lace sweetheart neckline with lace straps. The fitted floor-lenth dress was made of intricate lace and flower appliques that featured a cathedral length train. She handcrafted and wore a satin belt with flower appliques, beads, and pearls. She wore a head band made of pearls and rhinestones and wore a cathedral length veil with lace details. The bride carried a silk bouquet of hand tied white and pink roses filled with heirloom brooches she collected from her family.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William T. Shepherd, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Bride's Grandparents

The bride?s maternal grandparents are Mrs. John Dane, Jr. of New Orleans, and the late Mr. John Dane, Jr. Her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. William T. Shepherd, Sr. of Pine Bluff.

Bride's Employment

Dorothy is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she studied speech pathology and minored in human development and family sciences. She was also a member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Groom's Parents

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Prochazka of Hemingford, Nebraska.

Groom's Grandparents

The groom?s maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Nason, and the late Eugene Garrett of Alliance, NE. His paternal grandfather is Mr. Kenneth Prochazka of Hemingford and the late Mrs. Kenneth (Marjorie) Prochazka.

Groom's Employment

Tyler graduated from Hastings College in Nebraska where he earned a bachelors degree in elementary education. He is currently working on a Masters in educational administration at Missouri State University and teaching at Branson Public Schools.

Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids

Stephanie Shepherd Poverelli of Santa Barbara, California, sister of the bride, served as the Matron of Honor. The Bridesmaids were Beth Ellen Ferris of Pine Bluff, Anna Hendry of Fort Worth, TX. Nicole Jackson of Wynne, AR, Helen Grace King of Pine Bluff, Colby McCarty of North Little Rock, Natasha Miller of Fayetteville, Caroline Spain, cousin of the Bride of Ashdown, and Whitney Woloshyn of Collierville, TN. The bridesmaids wore a one shoulder, light pink lux chiffon dresses with a shirred bodice set in a waistband. They carried a hand tied bouquet of peach and yellow gerber daises, pink and white garden roses, pink lilies, hydrangeas, feathers and gold leaf accents.

Best Man and Groomsmen

Attending the groom as his Best Man was Dakota Mahan of Tulsa, OK. Honorary Best Man was Tyler?s late brother Todd Aaron Prochazka of Hemingford, Nebraska. Other groomsmen were Andy Baldwin of Springfield, Mo, William Blitch of Dallas, Brad Kuhn of Grand Island, Nebraska, Walter Kearns of Stillwater, OK, Brett Sall of Fort Collins, CO, Joseph Poverelli of Santa Barbara, California, brother in law of the bride, Toler Shepherd of Dallas,TX, brother of the bride, and John Striebel of Denver, CO.

Additional Wedding Party Members

The Honor Attendants were Hannah Moss, Lea Whitlock and Alexis Millenbaugh, all of Pine Bluff, Jessie Clark of St. Louis, MO, Allie McKee of Dallas, TX, and Helen Wisner of Fayetteville. They wore an aqua one-shoulder knee length dress made of chiffon. Ushers were Zach Fowler of Aurora, NE, Chris Hubbard of Branson, MO, Patrick Miller of Cairo, NE, Steve Sherman of Columbus, NE, Matt Skaggs of Lincoln, NE, and Justin Wade of Branson, MO. The flower girl was Mary Caroline Smykla of Pine Bluff, who wore a beautiful pink dress with a rose sash and a wreath of flowers in her hair. Dane Stephen Shepherd, the brother of the bride, was the ringbearer. He held an ivory lace heart shaped pillow with pink ribbons which was passed down from the grooms grandmother.Vocalists were Beth Ferris and Stephanie Poverelli. Instrumentalists were Faron Wilson on the organ, Kinsey Fournier on the clarinet, and the violin was played by Alex Small. The scripture reader was Justin Wade.

Reception

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Pine Bluff Country Club. The ballroom was decorated with a palette of light pink, cream and gold accents. The tables were adorned with silk rose runners, flowers and gold candlesticks. Music and entertainment was provided by the band called ?B Flat? out of Little Rock.
