She is currently working as an ICU nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. The groom is the son of Cheryl and John Koch of Garland. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in Engineering. He is currently employed as the manager of Information Security for Direct Energy in Houston, Texas.
